I agree with Bob. Good food and nice place to unwind and check out the peeps. I also agree with Isabel, the burgers and soup are always good. The gals working there are kind of pretty, but UGLY is to the bone baby! I felt like I had to leave a huge tip, other wise it would be announced once I left.I heard the staff openly putting down customers, after they had left the place of course, no courage to walk from bar to table and pace drinks on table. Just nice boobs and "kind of pretty". I did in fact leave a  a very good tip however, I wrote my tip on the napkin, "Stop dissing customers in front of other customers, you'll get better tips." Cheer up girls, go back to school or get another job. This is service industry and we are making money by being great servants. The better we serve the better the money. If you gals worked in one of my restaurants and talked that openly and negatively about customers in front of other customers, I'd fire you, then have you stripped naked and pissed on. 2 forks because the food is good. Happy Canada Day everyone.

Well not to sure what BOB's problem is I went to the Amsterdam Cafe just a short while ago and had one meaty burger and a fistfull of friendly girls serving me, my partner had a wonderfull bowl of french onion soup and not to metion the great location for people watching but I can undersand how "BOB" might be offened as this place was filled with beautifull people and lot's of locals, even in the evening walking by that place is packed  poor ol BOB must be either one bitter "girl" for not getting a job there or one ugly perverted looking man that we can apparently find hanging out at "Seven".

the food is horrible, the servers think there gods gift to men(their not), and if you dont tip 50% they get pissed off. Good place for drinks and people watching if u dont mind tipping large for shit service

This place is killer. Most fun ive ever had at a restaurant. The food was awesome. The bruschetta bread is the best ive ever had, the sliders i'm totally in love with, they also serve this vietnamese soup, i think its pho bo or something like that and i f'n love it. The restaurant itself is really casual and everyone there seems to be havin a good time. Cant wait to check out the patio this summer, I just hope its as much fun as sitting at the bar was this winter. Going back for sure

This place is great and the food is awesome. Not a big salad eater, but i ordered the spinach and goats cheese salad and it was fanatastic. For dinner i had the lamb, best lamb ever no one can even come close. Will be back again and again.

Elements is a fantastic restaurant. It comes with a great reputation for a reason, excellent (yet simple) food. Breakfast is a must at this restaurant, I had Dungeness Crab eggs benny earlier this year and it was possibly the best breakfast I've ever had. Excellently cooked (the poached egg was beautiful), it combined few high quality flavours and let them speak for themselves - isn't that what cooking is all about. The service was friendly and swift too. Whilst the restaurant is small, it is not at all cramped and is well laid out.

i've eaten here 3 times now and have found them to be very good. the portions are fairly large, the hot n' sour soup is loaded with shrimp, tofu, chicken and other veggies. the spring rolls are great and yes they do have chicken balls.  contrary to popular belief they are open and under new management. their new phone number is 604-938-2813. they certainly aren't as cheap as some
