A very nice setting as the ad says above.  I started with a salad, which was really big and the lettuce was fresh.  I had asked for the dressing on the side and it came with the Maple Vinegar dressing.  Too much vinegar.  The server was more the happy to bring me a new salad with dressing on the side.  I asked for  thousand island.  It also had too much vinegar. The $10 special was Wild Salmon on cedar plank.  The salmon was very good and cook perfectly.  The problem was the vinegar on the fingerling potatoes and veggies.  If you like a lot of vinegar then you will love this restaurant.  I just never been to a restaurant that puts vinegar on almost everything.  Every night there is a different $10 special, so money wise the price was great, as was the fish. The atmosphere is also very nice, situated inside the Fairmont Whistler.
